Vida Miknevičiūtė will make her house debut at Teatro alla Scala in the title role of Richard Strauss’ Salome nn January 14, 2023.
Damiano Michieletto’s staging, produced exclusively for television broadcast in 2021, will finally premiere in front of live audiences. Further performances will take place on January 17, 20, 24, 27 & 31, 2023.
Michael Volle (January 17, 20, 24, 27, 2023) and Tomasz Konieczny (January 31, 2023) can be experienced as Jochanaan, Lioba Braun as Page. Michael Güttler is the musical director on January 20 & 27, 2023.
