In the 2023/24 season, he will make his house and role debut at the Semperoper Dresden as Barak in the new production of Strauss’ »Die Frau ohne Schatten« under the musical direction of Christian Thielemann. From the coming season, he will become a member of the ensemble there and will be heard amongst others as Scarpia in »Tosca« under Marco Armiliato and as Comte Capulet in Gounod’s »Roméo et Juliette« under Robert Jindra. He is currently in the ensemble of the Weimar National Theater, where he has appeared since 2018 in the title roles of Wagner’s »The Flying Dutchman« and »Caligula« by Detlef Glanert, as well as Amonasro in »Aida«, JP Morgan in Copeland’s »Electric Saint«, Baron Scarpia in »Tosca«, the four villains in »The Tales of Hoffmann« and others.

The young bass is already making a name for himself as a promising talent of the next generation and is set to give his house debut at the Baden State Theater in Karlsruhe as Sarastro (The Magic Flute) today.
He has been a member of the ensemble at the Munich State Theater at Gärtnerplatz since the 2023/24 season. In the 2021/22 season, made his debut at the Vienna State Opera and has since appeared in several productions there.
He is also in demand as a lied and concert singer and has recently released his first CD on the Preiser Classics label.
In October 2022, Lukas Enoch Lemcke was awarded the Gottlob-Frick-Medal; and in 2023, he placed in the Ada Sari Competition and came 2nd in the Anneliese Rothenberger Competition.
