The premiere of the new production of Dmitri Shostakovich’s Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk will take place on January 22, 2023. Camilla Nylund will make her role debut as Katerina Ismailova in Angelina Nikonova’s production, and Sava Vemić will make his house debut in Hamburg as the Prikazchik/Sergeant. Kent Nagano is the musical director in this production.
