Diana Damrau and Ekaterina Gubanova will be singing at the Gala inaugural at Opéra national de Paris, under the baton of the new Music Director Gustavo Dudamel.
The concert takes place at Palais Garnier on September 22, 2021 at 7:30 pm. On the program are arias, duets, ensembles and musical interludes from Georges Bizet’s Carmen to John Adams’ Doctor Atomic, from Richard Wagner’s Lohengrin to Osvaldo Golijov’s Ainadamar, from Richard Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier to Giuseppe Verdi’s Falstaff, from Manuel De Falla’s La Vida breve to Benjamin Britten’s Peter Grimes.
The show will be broadcast live on September 22 at 7:30 pm on L’Opéra chez soi, Medici.tv and Mezzo.
 
 

Further Ekaterina Gubanova (Jocaste) and Brian Mulligan (Créon) can be heard and seen in the new production of Georges Enesco’s opera Œdipe, at Opéra Bastille in the staging of Wajdi Mouawad under the baton of Ingo Metzmacher. The premier will be on September 23, with further performances until October 14, 2021.
